Six Sentence Sunday – 3/7

It’s that time of the week again – Sunday.

For the past week, my writing life has been centered around a new WiP and I thought I would share six sentences from what I’ve been working on. There’s no title yet, but you don’t need to know that in order to enjoy or for me to play along.

Her curt dismissal of his compliment told him she wasn’t someone who received compliments often. If he had anything to say about that, it wouldn’t continue. “Well, you said the store needed a whole new system because this one was outdated.”

“You’ll need a significant upgrade at least. Even then there’s no guarantee it will help because the system may be too old to handle the size of the data we’d throw at it.”

“And here I thought size didn’t matter.”

For those new to this, the rules are simple:

1) pick a project – a current Work in Progress, contracted work or even something readers can buy
2) pick six sentences
3) post ‘em on Sunday
