Yet again this week, I had fresh edits on my sci-fi but have chosen to go with something else. There was a bit of excitement around these parts early last week and I’ll make a formal announcement about that in a few days. In the meantime…enjoy.

I heard the rumble long before I saw him. It was deep and throaty, roaring like a giant beast that was impatient with the knowledge it was about to be set free. He pulled the car to a stop in front of me and smiled broadly over the roof of the sports car.
This is what I get, what I deserved, for not telling him earlier we just needed to stick with the rust bucket that had gotten us this far.
“You stole a Shelby,” I stated, eyeing the neon apple green paint job on the brand new, fully tricked out Mustang.
So much for inconspicuous.
