Six Sentence Sunday – 4/24

For something with a bit of a different flavor, instead of sharing an upcoming release or a work in progress, this Sunday will be from my novel, Flash of Dark. Enjoy!

Zoey was partially on the couch at this point, cuddling with the half empty bottle of tequila clutched to her chest as I moved away to slide my coat around my shoulders. A smile was turning up the corners of her mouth and she gestured for me to come over before I left. I could smell the alcohol on her breath as I leaned over and saw the glassy cast the liquor had given her eyes. “Savor him before you devour him, Ana. Don’t give him a chance to breathe.”
Drunk as she may be, Zoey had a point.

For those new to this, the rules are simple:

1) pick a project – a current Work in Progress, contracted work or even something readers can buy
2) pick six sentences
3) post ‘em on Sunday

See? Easy. Want to play? See our site for information on how to do just that: http://sixsunday.blogspot.com/p/about.html
