Thought I’d share six sentences from a book I’m currently working on. This is Ryan’s book for those of you familiar with Hardware. I keep flipping on the title, so it’s not settled quite yet. I’m in the last quarter of the book, nearly finished, so I’ll have to decide soon. Ah well, enjoy.
Beth gave a soft sigh as she fanned her hand, pressing it against his chest. The contact was so simple, yet intensely intimate.
Ryan gloried in the moment, cradling her while she drifted along in subspace. He wouldn’t rush her out of it because he knew the intoxicating effect was a hard thing to pull away from. Instead, he dragged her closer, checking her breathing and pupils. Satisfied, he fit her head under his chin and leaned against the wall—perfectly at peace for the first time in forever.
For those new to this, the rules are simple:
1) pick a project – a current Work in Progress, contracted work or even something readers can buy if you’re published
2) pick six sentences
3) post ‘em on Sunday
