Six Sentence Sunday – 5/20

Thought I’d share something I’ve been hammering away at for the past few weeks…more than likely, a post-apocalyptic erotic romance. I mean, during dark, desperate times, what else are people left to do? ;)

“Hey, Roth, hand me the knife, will you?” April glanced over her shoulder when he didn’t answer. She recognized the unfocused, glazed look in his dark eyes, and was even a little surprised to discover she didn’t mind him gawking at her. Knowing he would hate himself later if he allowed himself to give in, she released the rope and moved to slide off the hood of the truck–well out of his reach.
His hand clamped around her ankle, stopping her. “I know I said…” he trailed off as his lips drew together in a fine line.

For those new to this, the rules are simple:

1) pick a project – a current Work in Progress, contracted work or even something readers can buy if you’re published

2) pick six sentences

3) post ‘em on Sunday

See? Easy. Want to play? See the site for information on how to do just that: http://sixsunday.com

  1. Hi Sara, nice teaser! I’ve been doing 6 sentence sunday for a while now and was wondering if you could please add me to the list of authors on the side bar. Also, I’d like the next available spot open for a book cover ad. Thanks and I look forward to hearing back from you.

For some reason when I click on the contact link to email you it doesn’t work for me.
