New Release – Glad You Came (Geek Kink #4)

It’s release day! The last of the Geek Kink series, Glad You Came, is now available. Because of some changes taking place with the publisher, I don’t have a timeline for when the book will be available at places like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, All Romance eBooks, etc. I apologize for that, but I simply don’t have that information at this time. As soon as it does though, I will post links on the book’s page here on the website.

Glad You Came was a long time coming (ha! *ahem*). Dade, Genevieve and Tony lived in my head for a long time before I was finally able to get to their story. And even though I thought I knew it several years ago, the trio surprised me several times. As happy as I am that I got to give them their story (and close the loop on a few other characters, not to mention the warehouse!), I’m a little sad the story with the gang from Sanctuary is over. But a new set of geeks have taken up residence in my head already and they’re all clamoring to get out.

I realized I normally share my playlist for a book and I hadn’t done that with Glad You Came yet. So I thought I’d share that today. This book, in fact the whole series, is definitely a story about family, learning about yourself and redemption. The playlist for this book certainly reflects those things.

Breaking Inside ~ Shinedown
Break My Fall ~ Breaking Benjamin
Adrenaline ~ Shinedown
Madness In Me ~ Skillet
Edge of Heaven ~ Breathe Carolina
Waiting (Save Your Life) ~ Omnisoul
Bleeding Out ~ Imagine Dragons
Not Strong Enough ~ Apocalyptica feat. Brent Smith
3 ~ Disturbed
A New Way to Bleed ~ Evanescence
Dirty Mind (Bonus Version) ~ Halestorm
Breath ~ Breaking Benjamin
Hands All Over ~ Maroon 5
When The Heartache Ends ~ Rob Thomas
Penance ~ Device
Live to Rise ~ Soundgarden

As always, one song usually stands out among the group. Though each of the trio have their own personal struggles to deal with during the course of the book, Dade’s conflict is clear from the first page. Almost the first paragraph, in fact. Even though he knows he’s not supposed to want them, he goes ahead and does it anyway. Which is excellent for us!
