Branded Irish Playlist

Music always has a place in my writing, and even years after I wrote my first full-length novel (which went on to become my 3rd published book) I can hear a song on that book’s playlist and be instantly transported back into that world with it’s lively assortment of characters.

Playlists act as triggers, as I can identify a character or scene with a song, hear it, and be right where I need to be writing-wise in my mind. For Branded Irish, there is a key scene where there is a confrontation between the Riding Irish and a rival motorcycle club. Those events will have far, far, far reaching consequences, well beyond the Branded Irish storyline…it’s clear things are about to change for our fun-loving group of Irishmen.

Playlist – Riding Irish (Sinners & Saints #1)

As always, playlists pretty much go hand in hand with my books. Sometimes the music varies from rock, pop, and instrumental. The music on the lists are as varied as each book I write. Riding Irish is no exception. Shinedown is always a favorite of mine and their songs have made their way on more than few of my playlists. Thirty Seconds to Mars is a new entry onto my playlists, as is Pop Evil. And it’s Pop Evil’s song Deal with the Devil that is pretty much the anthem for Riding Irish. Kane is the all-American good guy, while Avery is a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Two opposing forces who shouldn’t be attracted to one another. Not to mention, before they can have their happily ever after, Kane will have to make a deal that may just make him the sinner he never expected.
