Welcome to my stop on the tour! You should have arrived from PG Forte‘s site and just in case you’ve begun the tour from my page and want to start from the beginning, click on over to Paige’s site: (http://paigetylertheauthor.blogspot.com/). But don’t worry, there’s a list all the way down at the bottom of the entry where you can find any of the blogs along the tour, in case you want to buck tradition and visit them out of order – there’s no rules against that. The only rule is that you leave a comment at each of the blogs to be entered to win some fabulous books. Plus, there’s an added bonus of a chat room link at the very last blog on the tour where some of the authors will be chatting throughout the day. Stop on in and say hi!

Psst…before we move on to the hotties, there’s another contest happening here for my upcoming release on Monday, Jan 18. Don’t forget to enter for a chance to win a download of my book and a goodie pack of promotional stuffs!

Okay – what you came for! I like themes and we’ve got one today – say hello to some celebrity hotties. Or more accurately, say hello to those biceps and even a few abs! *wolf whistle* These men know certainly know how to take care of themselves and boy do we appreciate it!

Alright guys, the day is here! It’s the Trick or Treat Blog Tour! If you’ve made it here by not starting at the beginning (and you’re all about order like I am) the Blog Tour starts over a Gem’s site (http://gemsivad.wordpress.com/blog)

RULES: The rules are simple. Visit each blog on the tour and leave a comment at each one. At the end of the day, the winner’s will be chosen at random and prizes abound!

So let’s get to the hotness…I don’t know about you, but when it came to surfing around to find pictures there were just too many to choose from. Seriously, this was really hard work, shifting through all these pictures I found of hot guys. Well, I culled the list down to these and I just couldn’t decide. So – consider yourself treated as I decided to post all of them! As you’ll notice, there’s a definite theme working here. Hot guys in jeans. Well, except for the last one. I’m particularly fond of it – black & white photography is my favorite, not to mention that look (you know the one…). *SWOON*

If you click on each thumbnail. you’ll be treated even more as the full size image will pop up.

So, now that you’ve gazed upon some hotties and need a mop for all the drool, you can head on off to the next stop on the tour, Jolie’s site (http://joliecainauthor.blogspot.com/)

It’s been a very long weekend for me. My daughter’s Irish dance school put on their annual competition this past weekend and hubs and I volunteer for the whole weekend. To prevent a long story, my computer blew up Saturday afternoon. We’re talking physical memory dumps – repeated ones. Couldn’t happen at a worse time, I’ve exams this week and I left this morning, bright and early for a business trip for the week.

So, needless to say, technology and I aren’t friends right now like we usually are.

But that isn’t going to stop me from passing on goodies to you and boy is this one a treat! Come join me and trick or treat bag full of other authors for a Halloween Hottie Blog Hop on October 30. Now, if getting an eyeful of Halloween Hotties wasn’t enough, there’s prizes in the tour and you can find out more about the details on who’s involved and what the prizes will be here.

Be sure to stop back by here on the 30th!

I’ve heard some people say that writing is easy. I laugh in their face. Why do I do such a mean thing? Here’s an example:

1-1/2 years ago, I wrote a book. I set it aside after I was finished to work on other things. Now I’m back to that book. I haven’t touched it since I set it down, so needless to say, it needs a good scrubbing edit-wise from me. First thing I realized was the first chapter was slow and boring. There was nothing that really grabbed me as the reader that would invest me in the story enough to keep reading. So, I fiddled a little and came up with something new.

The next day, I re-read it and thought it was utter shite.

So, a few days ago, on a very long plane ride, I decided that it needed a new beginning. Wrote that and yet again, a day or so later, hated it.

To shorten the story, I went through that five times. FIVE. Five times of loving/hating.

Yesterday I hand wrote out another stab at the chapter, and reading it again this morning, I still like it. So, it will probably be the new beginning for the book.

So, what the hell is so easy about that? Why would I willingly put myself through that sort of aggravation. I know of no one that would put themselves through something like that if they didn’t absolutely love what they did. You have to, in order to do that to yourself. To put yourself through that frustration on a routine basis. Especially when I know, that even after all of that, it’s still not “perfect” and will have to be edited up the ass in order to get it into an even better flow/format/etc.

Even then, it’ll still need to be edited.

Yeah – writing is easy. *snort*
